tree street addition
The Tree Street design needed to meet the needs of a growing family and an out of date floor plan. A small addition created some away space for parents who work at home. The new spaces provide outdoor living and better connection to the yard. Walls were removed to create an open kitchen/dining space for entertaining.
The distinctive trellis is designed to allow passive solar gain in the winter while shading from harsh afternoon glair and summer overheating. A new rec. room was added in the basement and the laundry and bathroom areas were improved. The addition was designed to allow for a phase 2 green roof or second storey above.
